Waiting - a short story written in 1996

Scales of Times - a short story written in 1995

Hesta closed his eyes as the years flashed by.  It wasn't the first time he'd travelled back through time, but this was by far the longest trip he'd ever made.  In fact it was the longest trip ever attempted and, while there was no danger to him, it was uncomfortable and he felt a strange apprehension.

The Foxhole - a short story written in 1993

Leo's concentration had long since wavered.  His eyes were still looking out into the jungle beyond the foxhole and would see any movement, but his mind was back in the States with Catherine.  She was a lovely girl and he had already decided he would ask her to marry him as soon as this war was over and he could talk to her personally.  He had wanted to pop the question so bad he had considered putting it in a letter, but that was so impersonal.  He was sure she would wait for him.  She had told him she loved him and had given her ring to him to wear always and remind him of her.

The Guardians - a short story written in 1993
